how are your cupcakes shipped?
our cupcake kits are shipped via USPS priority mail. we ship out on monday, tuesday and wednesday mornings. orders placed wednesday afternoon through 4pm saturday ship out on monday. orders placed saturday after 4pm through monday ship out on tuesday. sounds confusing, we know. if you have any questions as to when your order will ship, or if you’d like us to help you coordinate an arrival date, please .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
most shipments take 2 days to arrive at their destination (and, YES! your cupcakes will still be fresh!)
**please keep in mind, we cannot be held responsible for slow mail, giant snowstorms or postal workers who don’t leave packages at your doorstep. also, WE DO NOT SHIP ON ANY POSTAL SERVICE HOLIDAYS.

a note about package appearance: we take extra special care to make sure your cupcakes arrive to you in perfect condition. that said, your package will contain the cupcakes & accessories you ordered, and will be in our extra cute packaging; but, depending upon where the cupcakes are headed, the packaging may not look EXACTLY like the photos on our website. certainly you understand. mailing cupcakes isn’t a piece of cake.do you ship your cupcakes to international addresses OR international APOs?
unfortunately, we do not. not to either.
what if my mom’s birthday is in two weeks, but i want to place my order now? can i specify when i want you to ship my cupcakes?

do i have to do any baking myself? are there any ingredients to add?
your cupcake kit will arrive ready to decorate. nothing to bake. all you do is whip out your icing wand, decorate and eat. (if you’d like, you can .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) of your cupcake creation!)
what about cupcake accessories? can I add a birthday candle to my order? what about a card?
after you build your cupcake kit, you have the option of adding accessories to your order!
we have special birthday cupcake decorations and candles. we also have cupcake picks for a variety of occasions!sending cupcakes to a friend/loved one? after you add your kit to your cart and go through the initial stage of checkout, you’ll arrive at the Review Your Payment page - you’ll notice a field there where you can enter your gift message. we’ll write your gift message on a sweet little card and include it in your order.
how do i order cupcakes from the online shop?

is it possible to ship cupcake kits to multiple addresses?
yes and no. don’t you love complicated answers to complicated questions?
if you want to send a cupcake kit to your aunt, your cousin and your boss - you totally can. BUT you can’t add all three kits to your cart and then enter separate addresses for all three people - you actually have to go through the cupcake selecting process and checkout process three separate times. but think of how fun that will be! so fun!can I order my cupcake kit over the phone?
due to the interactive nature of our online cupcake shop, orders are best placed online. BUT we will gladly walk you through your order over the phone if that makes you feel more comfortable. just give us a call at 503.943.9053.

how much does a cupcake kit cost?
our kits of 3 cupcakes are $10 PLUS shipping.
our kits of 6 cupcakes are $17.50 PLUS shipping.
our kits of 12 cupcakes are $35 PLUS shipping.
how do i care for my cupcakes after their arrival?
this is an interesting question - both because we can’t imagine not decorating and eating our cupcakes as soon as humanly possible, and because we never eat any less than 3 cupcakes in one sitting.
well, we might be exaggerating a bit - but the key to enjoying fresh cupcakes is to eat them as soon as you can after their arrival.
we do not use anything in the cupcakes to maximize their shelf life, nor do we use stabilizers or any other funny stuff in our icings.if you have what it takes to wait a while before eating your cupcakes, then we recommend you eat them no longer than one day after their arrival - simply to ensure maximum deliciousness.
leave your cupcakes at room temperature, but do put your icing in the fridge. but, seriously, why would you wait to eat them?
are your sprinkles okay for vegans?
our sprinkles cannot be guaranteed vegan. if you are a vegan and didn’t know that some sugars aren’t vegan, well, you’ve got some research to do.
why can’t I drag & drop my choices into the cupcake builder?
a few of our customers are having problems with the fancy technology that allows our drag & drop feature to work successfully.
try updating your internet browser. the most recent version of Firefox seems to work beautifully - because it, apparently, has a lot of preloaded java scripts in it. and, word on the street is that drag & drop technology requires good java script. so, give it a shot! treat your computer to a new internet browser (totally free! you just have to take the time to let it load!) and then let the cupcake magic begin!
