hey! happy summer!

well, kinda.

i must admit, this week of crazycrazycrazy rain makes it feel like summer is still 6 months away…but according to the calendar, summer starts, like, this weekend! get out your swimsuit! don’t forget the sunblock! wear a hat!

our NW store will be open on memorial day - 9am - 6pm. stop by and say hi to matt! and to margaret - she’s our intern from catlin gabel, and she’s a real smarty pants.

oooh! guess what? i’m teaching a cupcake class this saturday!

that’s right. i am. eeee!

it’s being hosted by & held at Sweetwares - the lovely baking shop owned by the fine folks at Baker & Spice in cute little hillsdale.

i’ll be guiding folks through a basic vanilla cake batter - then we’ll be jazzing up that same batter to create totally new flavors. we’ll also cover a simple vanilla buttercream…AND we’ll decorate cupcakes. AND those attending the class get to take cupcakes home. how fun!

i promise to do something really dumb so that you have something to laugh at. honest.

ps: one other reason you should come: my assistant for the class is literally the funniest person i have ever met. ever. and she’s an awesome baker.

yay!

our belmont store reopens today! after a few weeks of remodeling, we’re finally ready to show you what we’ve done with the place…we’ve got a new look, a new name (saint cupcake deluxe,) AND we still get to share our space with noun.
you should stop by today. no, really, you should. yes, do!

we’re open our regular hours from 10am to 7pm.

belmont remodel…

omg.
remodeling is hard.
so many decisions to make. so many pieces of furniture to move. so many things to buy. so many things to put away.

all this said, our belmont shop will not be re-opening tomorrow as we had planned. you know how these things go, right? you do, right? just say you do, okay? it’ll make me feel a lot better.

anyways, we’re now shooting for the end of the week. but stay tuned and i’ll update soon with exactly when! personally, i’m crossing my fingers for thursday, april 8.
