it’s supposed to be very hot this week. kind of hard to believe seeing as it’s only, well, july. [i know, i’m hilarious!]

Team Saint Cupcake will battle against local chefs using hand-cranked machines to create original recipe ice creams. Teams will be competing for speed and flavor. Free ice cream while it lasts, courtesy of Oregon’s beloved ice cream companies.

we’ve assembled a team of totally kick-ass churners. we’ve developed an ice cream flavor that’s perfect for summer. we’ll be at pioneer square on friday ready to churn. come see us!

just a quick note to let you all know that we will indeed be open on sunday, july 4th…both our belmont and NW locations.
on monday, july 5th our NW store will be open, but our belmont store will be closed because it’s actually always closed on mondays.

we’ve been busy making MOUSTACHES. for cupcakes! in honor of dads everywhere!
what says ‘dad’ more than a cupcake wearing a moustache? nothing on this earth, that’s what!

get your dad a moustache cupcake. it’ll be a father’s day he’ll never forget.

special limited edition moustache cupcakes will be available THIS SUNDAY (father’s day!) only. yay dad!

ps: no real moustaches were used in the creation of our moustache cupcake. they’re made of gum paste, silly!

we are so busy over here at saint cupcake! remodeled store on belmont. menu changes. weekly giveaways. now we need your help! saint cupcake wants to feature one (or more) of you in our new photos featuring all things cupcake. the winner will receive gift certificates redeemable for $200 in cupcakes! oh my, that’s a lot of sugar.

email us your photo or a link to a youtube video and tell us why you should win. submissions must be sent to info@saintcupcake.com and title your email appropriately, so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle!

photos need not include cupcakes, but we want to see you enjoying yourselves. send us your party shots! show us summer picnic fun! we need to know that when confronted with a cupcake…or two…or three…you’ll know what to do with them.

the details:

• we are planning to have the photoshoot sometime in mid-june.
• submissions can have up to 5 people, but at least 1 of these people must be able to ice a cupcake.
• submissions (both photos and videos) may be used by saint cupcake in marketing materials.
• saint cupcake will retain the rights to any photos taken with the winner, but we are happy to share a copy with you.
