exciting news from the land of sugar and butter! looks like we’ve found ourselves another baker! what’s that mean for us? more sleep! what’s that mean for you? a wider variety of sweet stuff AND full pastry cases.
we’ll provide more information (and a full introduction) after everything’s settled. one thing’s for sure: we’re so excited!
great-grandma carraher’s doughnuts
POSTED ON Monday, December 26, 2005 AT 20:58 by saint cupcake
most of the recipes we use at saint cupcake have come from jami’s mom and grammies - and there’s a new recipe that we’ve just recently uncovered - great-grandma c’s doughnuts. according to the carraher/clutter family history, jami’s great-grammie and grammie made dozens and dozens of these doughnuts and sold them around their little town of geneva, ohio. according to legend, it was the proceeds from the sales of these doughnuts that helped pay the mortgage on the family house on eastlawn street.
as soon as we get the recipe (it’s being sent from ohio,) we’ll start experimenting. and if it works out, we’ll start making them for you. stay tuned for details!
nutella hot cocoa update
POSTED ON Monday, December 26, 2005 AT 20:56 by saint cupcake
we’re not yet serving our nutella hot cocoa - although we’re working hard on it. finding a supplier for the amount of nutella we need (at a reasonable price) has been difficult…but we are trying our best!

christmas eve & christmas - store hours
POSTED ON Saturday, December 24, 2005 AT 02:19 by saint cupcake
important!
we’re only ‘sort of’ open on christmas eve morning - we’ll have some cupcakes (but don’t expect to walk out of here with 3 dozen!) - we’ll also be brewing stumptown and serving cinnamon rolls. most importantly, we’ll be here so that folks can come fetch their holiday orders. one sad bit of news: no scones on christmas eve morning…sorry!
christmas eve morning hours: we’ll be here from 9 (or a little before) until 11am (or a little after.)
as for christmas day, we’ll be closed. and probably napping. and remember, we’re always closed on mondays… so…
we’ll see you tuesday.
we hope santa brings you everything you want. we asked santa for some sleep.
