did you hear the one about the mixer?

our food machine (as the label on it reads) is broken. in fact, the food machine (it’s actually a giant mixer) broke once, was replaced, then broke again. the first time it broke it was mixing many pounds of butter (to turn into yummy buttercream!) the second time it happened it was mixing several dozen eggs and several pounds of sugar.

because it’s still broken, we’re now doing every ounce of our mixing using three trusty kitchenaid stand mixers. 

bakery hours - now open later on friday and saturday!

our hours have changed:

tuesday - thursday: 9am til 8pm
friday: 9am til 10pm
saturday: 10am til 10pm
sunday: 10am til 8pm

we’re closed on mondays

yes, it’s true. we do baby-size all of our cakes. we call them cupcake dots (after gramma dot, of course), and they are the perfect way to end a dinner party - or the perfect thing to satisfy your sweet tooth when a full size cupcake is too much. they’re adorable and taste every bit as yummy as their larger counterparts. one last thing: cupcake dots are all the rage this holiday season! we’re sending box after box of them out our doors. order some for your next shin-dig! you won’t be sorry…unless you eat them all before you get to the party.

thank you, thank you, thank you! saint cupcake has been so busy, and we are so very thankful! on saturday, folks were buying cupcakes as quickly as we could ice them. our pastry cases were empty all day because the cupcakes were being snatched directly from the kitchen. we adore you all - come back soon!
